ASiQ 2025?
ASiQ UGM 2025 is an annual event organized by the Himpunan Mahasiswa Aktuaria (HIMARIA) of Universitas Gadjah Mada. Its core mission is to introduce the UGM Actuarial Science Major to high school students and university students. Following years of success, ASiQ UGM 2025 will introduce innovative activities aimed not only at high school and university students but also at the general public.

Actuarial Olympiad
Actuarial Olympiad is a team-based competition designed to test the fundamental understanding of actuarial science among high school students across Indonesia. The scope of the competition covers core principles of mathematics, statistics, economics, and accounting. Its primary objectives are to introduce the field of actuarial science and to reinforce its core values. Executed with a more innovative and engaging approach, this year’s event is supplemented with an Actuarial Class to align with the grand theme of ASiQ 2025.
Actuarial Case
Actuarial Case is a competition category that evaluates participants’ ability to apply actuarial science in solving real-world problems. This competition provides a platform for university students to practically apply their actuarial knowledge and insights. Organized at an international level, this competition not only broadens the participants’ reach but also fosters a higher level of competitiveness on a global stage. Furthermore, it encourages the development of relevant and applicable solutions while building a strong international professional network.
Actuarial Reels
ASiQ 2025 will feature a creative video competition category titled ‘Actuarial Reels.’ Participants are required to submit their video entries on Instagram. This competition will be conducted entirely online and is open to the general public. The objectives of Actuarial Reels are to cultivate interest, potential, and creativity, as well as to enhance participants’ understanding of actuarial science through innovative and engaging video content.
Seminar
National Seminar
National Seminar will address strategic themes in finance, investment, and actuarial science, delivered by distinguished experts and practitioners with extensive experience in their respective fields. This seminar is a key segment of the ASiQ 2025 Closing Ceremony. This event is open to the public and is designed to provide comprehensive insights and in-depth perspectives. Through this session, attendees will have the opportunity to enrich their knowledge and understand the practical, relevant applications of financial concepts, investment strategies, and actuarial methodologies in both personal financial decision-making and professional contexts.

Actuarial Sparks for Ideas
Actuarial Sparks for Ideas is designed to introduce university life at UGM and to provide information regarding UGM Actuarial Science major, featuring presentations from alumni and/or faculty members. The speakers will share their experiences, lessons, and knowledge pertaining to the actuarial field. This session will be conducted online, just before the Olympiad semifinalist announcement. The event is open to the public, with a particular focus on high school students throughout Indonesia who are interested in the Actuarial Science major.

ASiQ Book offers a curated collection of past ASIQ Olympiad questions, enriched with in-depth solutions written by the problem setters themselves. Designed as a complete guide, it features problems and explanations from every stage of the competition—preliminary, semifinal, and final—making it an essential resource for anyone preparing for ASIQ or seeking to sharpen their problem-solving skills.
